Interactive Teller Machine (ITM)
The ATM Just Got Real
Not your typical ATM, Interactive Teller Machines at The Bank of Missouri let you talk to a live teller from the convenience of your car.
How is an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) different from an ATM?
It allows you to have the experience of interacting with a live person at the ATM. It looks like an ATM and will function a lot like one, until you tap the screen to use the ITM. You and the teller will be able to see each other using video cameras and hear one another through built-in speakers. You can also plug in your own earbuds. Don’t feel like talking? No problem. You can also use on-screen text messaging if you want.
To use the ITM, tap the screen to bring up your personal teller, who will guide you through your transaction.
Even better, the ITM still works like a regular ATM too, if you want. Insert your card as you usually would to use the ATM. You have the choice to simply use it just like you would any other ATM or the option to speak to a live teller. Isn’t it nice to have options?
What can I do at an ITM?
At the ITM, you can do just about everything you can do inside the bank branch, like …
- Cash and deposit checks (you’ll even get a copy of the check on your receipt)
- Deposit cash
- Make withdrawals in many common denominations (not limited to $20s like most ATMs)
- Break a larger bill
- Make a loan payment
- Ask questions about your account

Frequently Asked Questions
Read on for all the information you need to be a pro at using the ITM. We can't wait to see you there.
How do I cash a check?
We can cash your check to the exact amount. You won’t need a deposit slip or envelope. All you have to do is insert the check into the deposit slot when your teller is ready. An image of your check will appear on the screen, and you can let us know if want to deposit it or cash it. You’ll get a reduced image of your check back on your receipt for your records, too.
When will my deposit credit to my account?
ITM deposits are credited to your account on the same day up until 7pm on weekdays. Deposits made at the ITM on Saturdays process the next business day.
This is a later cutoff time than you get with deposits made in one of our bank branches or through an ATM transaction, so be sure to take advantage of this extended cutoff for deposits at our ITMs!
How do I make a cash deposit?
The machine will read and count each bill and will display the deposit amount on the screen for verification. If you have several bills, we recommend adding about 30 at a time.
Can I break a $20 at the ITM?
Yup! You can break a larger bill or even consolidate smaller bills into larger ones. The ITM has you covered. Simply touch the screen to start the process. You can also make withdrawals in many common denominations.
If you use the ITM as an ATM, it will function just like a regular ATM. Meaning when you make a withdrawal, in most instances you will get your cash back in $20 bills.
Can I use the ITM without talking to a teller?
Sure! The ITM works as a regular ATM until you tap the button to let us know you want to talk.
Can I use the ITM without my debit card? How does that work?
Forgot your debit card? No problem. You can use a driver’s license for identification at the ITM.
How can I pay my loan at the ITM?
Simply use cash, a check or make a transfer from your Bank of Missouri account.
Is there a delay in transactions made at the ITM?
No, your account will be updated just as timely as it is when you come inside the bank.
Are the interactive tellers bank employees?
You bet! We wouldn’t let just anybody handle your money. All interactive tellers have the same expertise as the staff you know and trust inside the bank lobby. And don’t worry, they aren’t actually trapped in the box either. They work in a nice, private office, with free coffee even.
