The Bank of Missouri and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines awarded $261,000 to 17 local organizations through the Member Impact Fund partnership.
This matching-gift program multiplies The Bank of Missouri's community giving nearly fourfold, supporting affordable housing, health, education, veterans, and human-services causes across Missouri.
Through the program, The Bank of Missouri contributed $65,250 in direct donations, which the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines matched at a 3-to-1 rate with an additional $195,750 in grant funding — quadrupling the community impact without additional cost to the recipient organizations.
"This partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines allows us to give back to our communities in a way that goes beyond what we could do alone,” said Adrian O. Breen, President and CEO at The Bank of Missouri. “We're proud to stand behind the people and programs that make our communities stronger."
The awards support a wide range of causes, including affordable housing, healthcare, education, veterans' services, the arts, and programs for individuals with disabilities.
"This generous support from FHLB directly impacts our programs and helps us provide a safe, inspiring environment where local youth can thrive. Partners like you are essential to building brighter futures for kids across the Ozarks, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to our community," said Stoney Hays, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks, one of the Member Impact Fund grant recipients.
