Effective July 1, 2011Click here for changes to Debit Card/ATM Overdraft Protection What is Bounce Protection®?Bounce Protection is an automated overdraft privelege requiring no action on your part. You do not have to sign anything. If you are enrolled in Bounce Protection, your overdraft privilege amount was automatically assigned to you. Click here to enroll in the Bounce Protection® program. How does Bounce Protection® work?As long as you keep your account in good standing, The Bank of Missouri may honor overdrafts up to your Bounce Protection limit. If you use this privilege, you should remember the bank's normal insufficient funds (NSF) fee of $29.89 for each transaction will apply and be deducted from your account. Your checks may be paid and we will notify you by mail when an overdraft occurs. No interest will be charged on the overdraft balance. What are the changes to the Bounce Protection® program?Due to regulatory changes, effective July 1, 2011, any customer who reaches six overdraft occurences within a rolling 12-month period, will automatically be removed from the automated Bounce Protection® program. Once you are removed from the automated program, any overdraft occurence going forward will be reviewed by bank personnel who will determine if the check will be paid or returned. Will I be able to enroll in the Bounce Protection® program at a later date?Once you are removed from the automated bounce protection program, you will not be eligible to re-enroll.
